GROUP FITNESS CLASSES

Come check out our group fitness classes!

At The Rec, we offer multiple group fitness classes for different levels of fitness. Led by expert Group Fitness Specialists, each class will offer safe, fun, and effective group fitness sessions designed to improve strength, power, flexibility, stamina, skill, agility, and speed while avoiding injury. 

  • Classes are offered Monday-Saturday, with a rotating schedule on Saturdays. Saturday's class will be posted ahead of time each week on the Rec's social media pages.

GX Class Descriptions & Programs

Recovery & Regeneration Classes (R&R)

Active recovery helps performance and muscle tissue become resilient and compliant to the demands of training. Power Plate vibration technology is incorporated with passive and active stretching to help increase active regeneration & recovery from workouts and stress. Planned recovery time is essential to optimal injury free training. 

HIT & RUN - Heavy Resistance Circuit Training

Strength training differs from muscular endurance and cardio. Common benefits of strength training are: stronger muscles, increased bone density, more nervous system activation, stronger joints, and increased stamina. HRC is an extremely fast and efficient way to strength train. Take two classes a week in less than an hour per class, and gain or maintain strength.

Greatest HITS - High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

Twice weekly full body HIIT training through uniquely planned classes, muscles that are commonly used grow, and cardiovascular benefits outweigh those form simply running. 

Easy Rider - Cycle / Spin 30

Short yet intense 30 min Spin / Cycle class helps accelerate your Heart Rate while building leg muscles in climbs. Start / End your day with a great effective cardiovascular workout for an effective caloric burn. 

Turn & Burn - Cycle / Spin 45

A longer Spin / Cycle class with warm up, low RPMS and effective muscular endurance leads to higher revs and intense short / long climbs for a thorough workout on all levels: cardiovascular intensity, longevity, and muscular endurance. 

Beginning Yoga - Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga focuses on breathwork and movement patterns which are excellent for beginners. Breathwork is paired with static postures to build internal strength, endurance, and balance. 

Intermediate Yoga

The “Core” of the lower body is emphasized through breath and stabilization, strengthening the pelvic girdle for men & women. These basic postures and taught and refined through awareness and breath control. Each movement can be translated to other sports, movements, and weightlifting creating greater strength from within. 

Advanced Yoga - Power Yoga

Ashtanga Yoga uses powerful breath work, movement sequences, postures, to build strength and fluid power. Physical movements / postures and interlaced with breathwork and transitions to provide an exhilarating and challenging workout.

Core Pilates (Reformer & Chair)

This is a great class for beginners & intermediate levels and those who are new to Pilates. We review the primary equipment and learn a classical series of beginner movements to build a strong core foundation for all other classes.

Performance Pilates (Reformer & Chair & Other)

Functional core focused class integrating Pilates Reformer, Pilates Chair with Kettlebells, medicine balls, and Kabuki Bars. This Core class helps generate dynamic strength and resilient power by activating all the neuromuscular connections of the functional core. 

Pilates HITT (Reformer & Chair & Other)

This beginning and intermediate class focuses on the primary functional muscle groups for a strong and injury free core. Pilates is mixed with TRX, kettlebells, and dynamic strength for a more intense whole body mind experience. 

Night Swim

Get your laps in the serene 86-degree pool, relax in the hot tub kept at a toasty 103 degrees, or bring the family to play in the kiddie pool (94 degrees) that features two floating fountains. Glow-in-the-dark balls are charged and ready to streak over the net and across the darkened dome with music setting the vibe and LED lights guiding your path.

Creative Dance

We create an environment allowing students to express themselves through music and movement. Students will use their imagination to create choreography and develop their own dance personalities. We’ll work on basic dance steps, rhythm, timing, balance, and more! 

No prior dance experience is needed! 

County Wellness

Come and enjoy a full body workout with the machines and cardiovascular equipment with compound movements that will help you feel better and have great confidence / energy within your body. We use a program that addresses all the major muscle groups within the body to provide you with a dynamic yet easy workout for maximal long term results. 

*No previous experience needed. 

Salute To Vets

We offer our local Veterans a free biweekly workout incorporating cardiovascular training, safe strength training, Pilates, and flexibility training. Workouts are designed to help with total body conditioning, resilient recovery, and flexibility.

Beginner Classes:

  • Free to members

Intermediate Pricing:

  • Single Class Pass: $5
  • Monthly Class Pass = $25

Advanced Pricing:

  • Single Class Pass: $10
  • Monthly Class Pass = $50
